The growth of the greater Umhlanga area in the last 20 years Between 2009 and 2013 alone the property value of greater Umhlanga increased by approximately R3,4 billion, with a total value over the last 20 years increasing to a staggering R10 billion.

Umhlanga Ridgeside has always been viewed as the crown jewel of this area, and with the introduction of a prestigious development like Enigma Private Estate, this value is set to increase further.

Coupled with extravagant, highend developments that have incorporated grand malls, such as Pearls Mall, which is estimated to bring R3 billion in value to the area, as well as the Oceans Umhlanga development of R3.1 billion. Umhlanga is definitely the most valuable node within KwaZulu-Natal, and South Africa as a whole.
