Prime Opportunity The latest joint venture from IFA Hotels & Resorts and Tongaat Hulett Developments, Zimbali Lakes Resort, has been designed as a family residential and leisure development. The second major phase in the development of Greater Zimbali, the resort will further the development lifespan of the area by at least another 15 years and contribute an additional R4 billion of direct investment into the North Coast, with an estimated job creation potential of 3 700 jobs. The resort comprises residential, office estate, commercial and resort components. A key feature is the first Gary Player signature design golf course in KZN, which will include a state-of-the-art driving range and academy, both scheduled for completion in 2013. The rehabilitation of wetlands will create the new 22ha Zimbali Lake, which will not only attract additional species of bird and wildlife to the area, but also allow for luxurious lakeside living.
